Ecological agriculture in Lebanon. Products soon to be available in Europe

PCPM and WFP (World Food Program) in Lebanon are cooperating together to conduct trainings for agricultural cooperatives aimed to support vulnerable Lebanese and Syrian refugees. During these trainings we are spreading the know-how and information about effective and ecological agriculture. Also, we are reinforcing the development of stakeholders, by supplying them with seedlings, seeds and required agricultural equipment.

Syrian refugees in Lebanon do not have to be afraid of fires anymore

9100 people in 93 refugee camps have now access to fire fighting equipment and are able to use it. Thanks to the trainings carried out by Polish experts, even the youngest residents know how to prevent the uncontrolled spread of fire and how to stop it before it becomes dangerous.

About one million refugees from Syria have fled to Lebanon, a country with a population of 4.5 million. It is as if around 16 million people (for example, refugees from Ukraine) had entered the territory of the United Kingdom or France.
