Kenya. Annual general meeting and conference 2021

Heads of Fire Brigades from 2/3 of local governments of Kenya gathered this Friday and Saturday for the second conference of Chief Fire Officers Association, Kenya, supported by Polish Center for International Aid. This was a great opportunity to meet and confer with Fire Chiefs from all over Kenya, from Marsabit in the North to Narok in the South and from Kilifi on the Coast of the Indian Ocean to Bungoma on the Ugandan border.

The PCPM Foundation with the largest pool of funds for development aid

We are starting the next stages of aid in Lebanon, Palestine, Ethiopia and Kenya. As part of the MFA (Poland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs) competition "Polish Development Aid 2021", the PCPM Foundation will receive grants for the implementation of new development projects in these countries.

Solidarity with Cyprus on helping refugees

Cyprus is a country where refugees represent 4% of the population. This is the largest ratio in the entire European Union. There are not enough places where refugee families could find shelter, which is why the PCPM Foundation has engaged in concrete help. The Foundation delivered modular homes recommended by UNHCR.

It’s ecological and safer in Lebanon thanks to solar lanterns

Thanks to the support of Polish aid, the PCPM Foundation was able to illuminate one of the main arteries in the Akkar district in Lebanon. The road connects the places where Poles help Syrian refugees. Almost 100 solar lamps installed there will improve road safety and reduce air pollution caused by exhaust fumes from power generators.

We have expanded a retirement home in northern Lebanon [VIDEO]

We took care of Lebanese seniors in a difficult time of the pandemic. We have rebuilt and arranged a safe space in the garden that will allow the oldest residents in Andaket to leave the house. Our help was possible thanks to the financing of Polish aid.

The team of professionals in Kenya, trained by PCPM, is growing!

For several months now, firefighters from all over Kenya have been taking part in advanced online training. The PCPM Foundation cooperates with renowned educational institutions. This is the largest Polish development aid project in Africa.

In spite of the pandemic we are still helping in Palestine

The COVID-19 pandemic has not stopped us in implementing our projects in Palestine. We have managed to finish the First Aid Trainings for the residents of Palestinian area C, where medical help is hardly accessible. We are proud to try some new solutions!
