Winter under fire and in darkness

Russian attacks on the energy infrastructure of Ukrainian cities are causing long power outages. More than one million people struggle every day with blackouts lasting over 7 hours. The lack of electricity affects not only homes, but schools, hospitals, service points, and social support centers. Due to frost and power cuts, people seek warmth and contact with loved ones at aid centers, where they can charge their phones, drink a hot tea, and for a moment feel safer.

How do we help?

Since 2014, we have been working for Ukraine, providing humanitarian aid and rebuilding public services. We support internally displaced families and people with disabilities. We deliver food, hygiene products, and agricultural tools. We renovate outpatient clinics, support hospitals, and local emergency services. We rebuild homes and buildings destroyed as a result of military actions, restore transport and municipal services. We support professional activation, and provide children and young people with safe places to learn. Thanks to our activities, thousands of families receive real support, security, and a chance for a normal life despite the war.
