Polish-Ukrainian School for Children from Ukraine in Warsaw – Places Still Available! Enrollment Is Open

For more than 200 children who spend their days here each year, from the first morning bell until late afternoon, this is much more than just a school. It is a place where they have found a safe haven among their peers and, above all, a sense of belonging and understanding.

The students and teachers are connected not only by their language and country of origin, but also by the shared experience that brought them here. That common understanding creates an environment where children can learn, grow, and support one another – becoming like a second family.

“I’m incredibly impressed by how engaging and thoughtfully planned every single day is. We have experience with other schools and activities, so we have something to compare it with. Choosing the Education Center was the best decision we could have made,” says Oksana, whose daughter Yesenia has been attending the PCPM Education Center for the past three years. Oksana is far from the only parent who feels this way. Her opinion is shared by many mothers whose children attend the Education Center.

For many women who came to Poland after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the school provides much more than education for their children. Because the Education Center cares for students both during and after classes, many single mothers – whose husbands remain in Ukraine – are able to work and rebuild a sense of stability for their families.

More Than Education

“My children always come home excited to tell me what they did that day. They proudly show me everything they created,” recalls one mother. She adds, “At the same time, the entire curriculum is fully covered. Thank you for organizing everything so well and for keeping the children so engaged.” Comments like these show that education is about much more than textbooks and homework. The experiences children have at school help shape the people they will become in the future. As one parent puts it, “The happiness our children bring home from school affects the whole family.”

“Moving to Poland was a huge challenge for my seven-year-old son. He didn’t want to leave Ukraine, and for a long time he kept saying he wanted to go back home. I realized he needed an environment where he could feel fully understood, so after two years I decided to transfer him from a Polish school to the PCPM Education Center. Today, Radion has made new friends, is doing well at school, and no longer talks all the time about going back to Ukraine,” says Iryna, Radion’s mother.

At the Education Center, children study in both Polish and Ukrainian. This bilingual approach allows students to continue learning comfortably in their native language while developing the Polish skills they need for everyday life and future education in Poland. Beyond the regular curriculum, every student can take part in a wide range of creative extracurricular activities. The school offers spacious, bright classrooms in a modern office building on Postępu Street, along with dedicated spaces for both play and relaxation.
