Financial aid from PCPM for displaced Palestinians
The PCPM Foundation continues its development and humanitarian work in Palestine on the West Bank. Thanks to funds donated by supporters and contributions from the 1.5% tax, PCPM provided USD 8,000 in humanitarian assistance for 126 children who, along with their families, were forced to leave their homes.
People displaced from refugee camps
The total number of internally displaced persons in this region is estimated at around 40,000. Before the escalation of the conflict, the three main refugee camps in the area were home to a significant number of residents – approximately 24,239 in Jenin, 27,631 in Tulkarm, and 13,739 in Nur Shams, according to UN data from 2023.
By 2025, all three camps had been emptied and abandoned. Families were forced to evacuate immediately, taking only essential belongings, believing they were leaving their homes temporarily. Meanwhile, the Jenin camp has remained closed for over a year, and access to retrieve personal property is still not possible.

Although most of the displaced have found shelter in collective centers, with relatives, or in rented apartments, about 600 families still reside in a facility on the campus of the Arab-American University in Jenin governorate. It is important to note that these are not formal humanitarian shelters but temporary accommodations in academic buildings, designed as short-term solutions. These facilities are not adapted for winter conditions or long-term residential use.

As part of its support, PCPM provided vouchers for winter clothing, enabling families to meet the basic needs of their children. This assistance is a direct result of donor solidarity and provides real support to those most affected.
PCPM’s work in Palestine can be supported in several ways – by allocating 1.5% of your tax or by making a donation, which makes this assistance possible.
