Lebanon: Education Center in Bire

Almost 54% of Syrian children in school age do not attend school in Lebanon, mainly due to poverty and major differences in school curriculum.

PCPM supports an Education Center 4km from the Syrian border, where over 400 Syrian refugee children attend supplementary classes that allow them to keep up with the difficult Lebanese curriculum.

Adolescents and primary school graduates also benefit from vocational training courses, designed both for boys and girls. The Education Center is supported by private donors from Poland and the City of Warsaw.
