Refugee reception and transit centre in Warsaw

The Polish Center of International Aid (PCPM) together with The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) along with the city of Warsaw have launched a refugee reception center for civilians fleeing the war in neighboring Ukraine. The facility is located in the immediate vicinity of Warsaw East Railway Station (Warszawa Wschodnia).

The transit center offers a number of services for Ukrainian refugees

Poland EMT PCPM is operating a health post at the largest refugee transit center in Warsaw, located next to Warsaw East Railway Station. The transit hub has been built by the NRC - Norwegian Refugee Council and is managed by Polskie Centrum Pomocy Międzynarodowej (PCPM).

Solidarity with Cyprus on helping refugees

Cyprus is a country where refugees represent 4% of the population. This is the largest ratio in the entire European Union. There are not enough places where refugee families could find shelter, which is why the PCPM Foundation has engaged in concrete help. The Foundation delivered modular homes recommended by UNHCR.

Syrian refugees in Lebanon do not have to be afraid of fires anymore

9100 people in 93 refugee camps have now access to fire fighting equipment and are able to use it. Thanks to the trainings carried out by Polish experts, even the youngest residents know how to prevent the uncontrolled spread of fire and how to stop it before it becomes dangerous.

Syrians need help to survive winter

Lack of fundings to help Syrians survive winter (the support for winter has been cut by 75%, comparing to last year) can lead to tragedy that has already occured in the past years, while people froze to death in Lebanese mountains.

About one million refugees from Syria have fled to Lebanon, a country with a population of 4.5 million. It is as if around 16 million people (for example, refugees from Ukraine) had entered the territory of the United Kingdom or France.
