Achol, Awang, Mary, Lam, Abuk, James. Of the six children born in South Sudan, four are currently suffering from hunger. This is the fate of as many as 1.4 million children in this country who are under the age of five.

Poland has sent therapeutic food to South Sudan

Polish Center for International Aid collected funds and bought therapeutic food for famine-ridden South Sudan. The sent food will help over 800 children. Transport has been dispatched from Kenya and will arrive in few weeks to Nutrition Center in Gordhim.

Heavy rain in South Sudan makes providing food for starving people impossible

The rainy season in South Sudan, where also PCPM supports starving people, makes 70% of the country cut off from access to food aid. The UN throws food out of the air to help people in inaccessible areas.
