Paramedic and firefighting training and life-saving equipment that helps the casualties of accidents – the PCPM Foundation helps from the funds of the Polish Aid project.

Our Polish Aid program partner visited PCPM Kenyan Firefighting Training Center in Kiambu

The Polish Secretary of State Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak visited our Firefighting and Emergency Service Training Center in the Kenyan capital. We presented the project outline, the actions implemented in close cooperation with Polish Aid, and the up-to-date needs of the Fire and Emergency Service Department in Kenya.

Kenyan firefighters are more and more proud

Kenyan firefighters extinguish fires, save newborns, take people out from the rubble of collapsed buildings, help victims of road accidents and are more and more often perceived as local heroes. PCPM for four years has been conducted the largest firefighter training program in Kenya. Now Polish instructors also conduct water rescue classes in case of floods, which are consequences of ongoing climate changes.

Syrian refugees in Lebanon do not have to be afraid of fires anymore

9100 people in 93 refugee camps have now access to fire fighting equipment and are able to use it. Thanks to the trainings carried out by Polish experts, even the youngest residents know how to prevent the uncontrolled spread of fire and how to stop it before it becomes dangerous.
